FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions? We have answers.

How much can I save?
The average client reduces their current waste costs by 20-50%. This can add significant improvement to your bottom line.

What kinds of clients do you serve?
Our clients represent all types of industries. We produce savings for manufacturers, industrial sites, restaurants, retirement homes, apartment complexes, supermarkets, retail stores, and more.

Can I pick and choose from your services?
Yes. We want to customize a plan that works for you. Whether you just want our basic cost reduction program, or you require more in-depth assistance with Green purchasing and Sustainability reporting, we can tailor our services to your needs. Compensation methods are also flexible.

What is GHG?
Gases that trap heat in the atmosphere are often called greenhouse gases. Some greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide occur naturally and are emitted to the atmosphere through natural processes and human activities. Other greenhouse gases are created and emitted solely through human activities.

How much does your consulting service cost?
We are only paid when we produce a savings for you. Our fee is calculated as a portion of the waste expense savings we generate and comes from your current waste budget.

Will you work with an RFP or Bid process?
Yes. We can customize the compensation model to meet your needs. Even though the shared savings plan requires no upfront fees, some businesses prefer a standard contract.

What if I don't have money for this?
The money you will pay us comes from the savings we find for you, so there is no need to go through a formal budgetary review before using our services. Since we are reimbursed a percentage of what we save you, your actual budget costs for this year will be reduced even after you pay our fee.

What is the WARM Model?
The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) created the Waste Reduction Model (WARM) to help solid waste planners and organizations track and voluntarily report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions from several different waste management practices.

Can't I just have my employees do this?
We are certified waste consultants with in-depth training and knowledge. Our team has access to the latest information available on recycling and waste handling, and can provide the expert assistance you need.

How long does an evaluation take?
We follow a rigorous 30-step process when evaluating every account. It typically takes 30-90 days of focused effort to complete our analysis, but don't worry - there is little to no time commitment from you or your staff.

How do you help us with Sustainability?
Our training in resource management and green purchasing can help you achieve specific goals related to your sustainability plan. No plan? Talk to us about the steps to get started.

What is LEED?
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. LEED promotes sustainable building and development practices through a suite of rating systems that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance.
